Psychotherapy and Counselling in East London
People seek psychotherapy for various reasons, many describe a feeling of being stuck or numb or that they have a feeling of dread in their life, sometimes their life can feel empty and lack meaning.
It is not uncommon to find it hard to put your feelings and thoughts into words, let alone share them with those around you. Perhaps what has stopped you seeking help from a psychotherapist in the past is the fear of not being taken seriously, heard or understood. If any of this resonates with you then please do not hesitate in contacting me.
You might be wondering how psychotherapy can help you? How can you change what is not working for you? Can talking to a therapist really make you feel better? These are natural questions to ask when you are thinking of embarking on a process which requires a leap of faith to start. Change occurs almost as a by product of therapy, the aim of really knowing and understand yourself leads to a better 'sense' of yourself, knowing what 'feels right' for you allows you to make choices and decisions with your eyes open. Being more connected to your feeling brings many benefits but ultimately a chance to experience a more enriched life
